The help desk: Chapter 01
Getting started
What Plan Our Reunion is, setting up your account, and creating your first event.
What is Plan Our Reunion?
Plan Our Reunion is a home base for planning gatherings that matter: reunions, weddings, offsites, celebrations. You get an event page with RSVPs, a private committee workspace for your co-planners, milestones and tasks to keep the plan moving, and an optional Reunion Fund if your event needs to collect money toward costs.
The money part is entirely optional. Plenty of events use Plan Our Reunion purely to coordinate the plan and the guest list.

How do I create my first event?
From your dashboard, choose Create Event. The wizard walks you through four steps: The Basics (title, category, visibility), Event Story (description, photo or video), Dates & Reunion Fund (event date, location, RSVP deadline, and whether to turn on the Reunion Fund), and Budget & Milestones.
Only the basics are required. You can come back and fill in the rest any time from your event's edit page.

What's on my dashboard?
Your dashboard gathers everything in one place: an Overview with anything that needs your attention, My Events, your Committees, Milestones across events, and (if you're collecting money) Contributions, Funds, and Billing tabs.
New accounts also see a Getting Started guide that checks items off as you go: create an event, build a committee, invite your crew, and secure your account.

Is Plan Our Reunion free?
Yes. The Free plan covers full event planning: RSVPs, committees, tasks, budgets, shared documents, committee chat, the Memory Wall, the Share & Promote kit, and Traditions for events you repeat year after year. Free accounts can run 2 active events with up to 30 guests each and 1 co-organizer.
"Active" means upcoming. Once an event's date has passed it no longer counts against your limit, and it stays in your account with its Memory Wall, photos and RSVPs intact, so a tradition can keep running year after year on any plan.
Pro raises those limits to 10 active events, up to 500 guests per event and 3 co-organizers, and adds the extra RSVP reminders (7 days before the event and on the day itself, on top of the day-before reminder every plan gets), limited event analytics (a per-event RSVP dashboard), and custom branding without the "Powered by Reunion Fund" badge. Free and Pro as sold today are both ad-supported; Enterprise is ad-free and adds organization-wide analytics across all your events, a CSV export of all your guest and RSVP data, and post-event retrospectives: a team survey, a scorecard against what the platform measured, and printable recommendations. See the pricing page for current plans and prices.

Do my guests need accounts?
No. Guests can open your event link, read the story, and RSVP without creating an account. An account only becomes useful if they want to post on the Memory Wall, join the committee, or keep track of several events in one dashboard.
